booooo! we are dead but our summer interns are not so in celebration of their young supple living selves they organized themselves into a collective called The Aborschtions (not our idea).
The Aborschtions made a bunch of sick lil movies over the summer and are now throwing their own film festival this week to screen them! :0))))
This summer, these high school and college-aged humans created over 20 shorts, edited a viral music video, put on two mini film festivals, and ran an art residency. See their work this Sat at 8pm for free at the main event: BORSCHT BEYOND.
It's not really a traditional fest, just a bunch of neat Miami movie events we like or maybe helped make, thrown by some of the other amazing film orgs in town.
There are also some parties, there will b pretty ppl there, treats, surprises, etc.

Other events include a Terence Nance retrospective and watch party for his hit HBO show, a Bad Boys double feature, and the world premiere of the first english language horror film shot in Cuba.
